Flat braid is typically used as a flexible and durable ground strap. High currents (Amps) are easily carried in low voltages. Tubular braid is made with individual ends that conform to ASTM B33 specification. The braid is manufactured to provide shield coverage of 90% minimum
Braided from 36 AWG (0.005") tinned copper wire. Values shown are for bare cable in free air at 30 deg. C (86 deg. F) and are for reference use only. Actual values depend upon permissible temperature rise, voltage drop, and other conditions of service.
